A traditional circus tent with flag on top. Circus tents are very large tents that are capable of holding a crowd of spectators, performers and any necessary props, animals or equipment needed in the performers' acts. In recent times, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has stopped using large circus tents and instead performs in fixed arenas and convention centers. Cirque du Soleil, on the other hand, continues to use mobile, but massive, circus tents for their performances.
