Description: Spell Number is not reliable for activating the emoji keyboard on the iTouch (I will sometimes refer to the iPod Touch as the iTouch). This program will work but not the first time unless you are very lucky so relax, grab a drink, and lets play with your iTouch settings!
Requirements: Emojis are only available on iPhone version 2.2 or higher. How to check your iTouch's version.
Instructions: First, get the app from the iTunes app store. Search the app store for "frostyplace". (it is by digdog software) Here is a link to it. * Open the app. For your information this method is flawed because it is trial & error but be patient. The app is in Chinese so you won't be able to read anything until the instructions pop up.Click on everything you see, it doesn't matter. A few seconds later a message will pop up with instructions on how to enable the emoji keyboard. Follow those instructions. I have outlined them here: hit your home button and attempt to turn on the emoji keyboard in Settings->General->Keyboard->International Keyboards->Japanese. If the Japanese option is there, you did it! Switch Emoji to 'on'. Now, a little "globe" icon which houses emojis will appear next to your spacebar whenever you use the keyboard. If the Japanese option is not available, try again. You may need to reboot your device. I have listed the steps again below. To restart your iTouch: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button at the top of the touch until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and the iTouch will turn off after a few moments. The screen will go black. Next, hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple Logo appears. That's it! The emoji keyboard will now be enabled as long as you want it. On any screen that the keyboard is available you will see a little globe near your spacebar. Click it to see emojis, Swipe left and right to see the pages in each category.
Feel free to delete the app but the icon is cool enough so might as well leave it around just incase.
