Information

Black Rosette refers to a Unicode symbol concept associated with the 2014-era expansion of pictographic symbols and emoji candidates, but it did not become a mainstream officially approved emoji with standard colorful platform designs. It is best understood as a proposed or discussed emoji-like symbol rather than a widely supported emoji keyboard character. The idea was closely related to the approved Rosette emoji, but the black version remained more of a text-symbol or candidate concept than an Apple/iOS-style emoji used in everyday messaging.
