Heavy Interrobang Ornament refers to a suggested punctuation emoji/symbol that would merge a bold question mark and a bold exclamation point into one decorative, βornamentβ style glyph. The idea surfaced in community wishlists and design discussions during the mid-2010s emoji boom, when people asked for a single, emphatic mark to represent shock, disbelief, and confused excitement. It was often framed as a heavier, more stylized counterpart to the classic interrobang (β½) and as a one-glyph alternative to typing ?! or using the existing EXCLAMATION QUESTION MARK emoji (βοΈ). Despite the chatter, this concept was never adopted as an official Unicode character or emoji.

This emoji was one of the "suggested emojis" the Unicode group unveiled in June 2014 [article], however, it has been, and still is, up to the companies who support emoji in their operating systems to provide not only images but also an algorithm to replace the emoji code into the emoji image.
