Tag Latin Small Letter A is a Plane 14 tag character (code point U+E0061) used inside emoji tag sequences. It is not a standalone emoji and is normally invisible by itself; it functions only as part of a larger sequence of tag characters that follow a base emoji. In current emoji practice, these tag letters most notably come after the Black Flag emoji (U+1F3F4) to encode subdivision flags via a string of tag letters, which is then terminated by the Cancel Tag character (U+E007F).
