Bullhorn with Sound Waves refers to a proposed or discussed emoji-style concept for a handheld megaphone actively projecting noise, announcements, chants, or alerts. As a distinct candidate name, it did not become a separate officially approved emoji, largely because the idea overlapped with existing symbols such as Loudspeaker and Cheering Megaphone. This emoji was one of the "suggested emojis" the Unicode group unveiled in June 2014 [article], however, it has been, and still is, up to the companies who support emoji in their operating systems to provide not only images but also an algorithm to replace the emoji code into the emoji image.
