People may have wanted this candidate because pointing hands were already common in internet comments, forum replies, instructions, memes, and visual callouts, where a bold hand icon could direct attention quickly without words. If imagined as Apple-style concept art, it would likely have appeared as a filled black or dark hand silhouette with the index finger extended upward but the whole hand oriented sideways, resembling a rotated typographic manicule rather than a realistic human hand. Because there is no known official Apple emoji design for this candidate, any colorful iOS-like version should be understood as a mockup or conceptual rendering, not an approved Unicode emoji.
