Left Thought Bubble refers to a proposed or discussed comic-style thought bubble concept, associated with Unicode symbol and emoji-expansion conversations from the era when many pictographic communication symbols were being reviewed. Unlike the widely used Thought Balloon emoji, this left-facing version did not become a standard, widely supported emoji on major emoji keyboards. It would have represented thinking, daydreaming, inner monologue, remembering, silent reaction, or a characterβs unspoken idea, with the left orientation making it useful in layouts where a bubble needed to point toward a person, avatar, or object on the left side.

Emoji History The emoji code/ image log of changes.
This emoji was one of the "suggested emojis" the Unicode group unveiled in June 2014 [article], however, it has been, and still is, up to the companies who support emoji in their operating systems to provide not only images but also an algorithm to replace the emoji code into the emoji image.
