White Hair is the Unicode emoji component U+1F9B3 used to indicate a white/gray hair style in person emoji sequences. It can display as a standalone pictograph (often a tuft or lock of white hair), but its primary role is to form gendered and gender-neutral “person: white hair” emojis via Zero Width Joiner (ZWJ) sequences, such as person + ZWJ + white hair, man + ZWJ + white hair, and woman + ZWJ + white hair. In these sequences, any skin tone modifier is applied to the person base, while the White Hair component sets hair color and does not change skin tone. The character has default emoji presentation, so no variation selector is needed for emoji-style display.
